Ray Lamontagne was uninspired
The unimpressive Supernova show featured Fuerza Regida playing his least inspired album to date, the entire Supernova album. The overindulgent set list was likely due to the show being filmed, capturing footage of a crowd that appeared quite board for a good part of the show. The band's song choices for older material left a lot of great material unplayed. This was a totally different show than the incredible, intimate, and very memorable Gossip In the Grain. The formulaic, uninspiring Supernova album just doesn't compare to earlier albums. Ray seems to have gone the way of many successful bands, lacking sincerity in his songwriting. The unimpressive, boring show wasn't worth the time or money.
